Explore your artistic side on Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 5) at the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston in the Seaport District. This incredible art museum offers free admission
for the day will let you explore gallery exhibits and contribute your own drawing to a collaborative art project. ICA Boston is breathtaking space on the South Boston Waterfront with performances, films, and galleries filled with contemporary works by iconic artists like Edvard Munch and Andy Warhol, as well as emerging creators.

Labor Day Fireworks on the Downtown Waterfront

Launched from a barge anchored between the North End and Seaport, the fireworks kick off the Labor Day weekend and illuminate the harbor at 8pm on September 1. The best places to view the spectacular fireworks show are from Christopher Columbus Park and Long Wharf in the North End, the South Boston Waterfront around Fan Pier/Seaport, the Downtown Waterfront, and Piers Park in East Boston.
