Greg Abate-saxophones, Tim Ray-piano, John Lockwood-bass and Mark Walker-drums.Greg Abate is considered by jazz writers and aficionados to be one of the most exciting saxophone players out there today.After working as a an in-demand sideman, Greg successfully ventured out on his own, as a leader, performing throughout the U.S., Canada, Europe and Russia, playing Jazz Festivals, Jazz Societies and Jazz Clubs.Gregs newest release is Magic Dance: The Music of Kenny Barron, featuring the legendary pianist, Kenny Barron, which is out now on Whaling City Sound.All GA sections (Main Floor GA & Miles Davis Mezzanine) will be seated by host and are first come, first served (other than where a reserved sign is posted to table). If you require special seating, please call the venue for accommodations no later than 48 hours prior to show date.Please note: If you do not purchase all seats at a table, other customers may be seated with you.Our new pre-show reception, Mix, Mingle and Groove, offered before the 7pm show, includes a variety of appetizers, carving board and an assortment of desserts. Mix, Mingle and Groove reception is from 5:15pm until 6:30pm on show nights only, in the Boathouse 400 restaurant, on the 2nd floor of the hotel. $60 includes all of the above, plus 18% gratuity, state and local taxes and validated parking while enjoying the reception and show.If you purchase the pre-show reception with your tickets, the pre-show reception is in the Boathouse 400 restaurant from 5:15pm to 6:30pm. The Boathouse 400 restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the hotel and Scullers Jazz Club is on the lobby level of the hotel.
