New Moms' Group 0 - 4 months - Meet a group of other moms in your area- Talk, listen, laugh, bond In our new moms groups, each week you'll share experiences, engage in parenting discussions, gather valuable resources, and ask your parenting questions in order to make this time of major transition smoother, saner, easier and more enjoyable! After these warm, informative, and friendly sessions, you'll be fully connected to a great group of other trusted moms and feel empowered with essential skills such as dealing with sleep deprivation and overcoming the challenges of feeding & fussiness. Support groups are led by facilitators who will guide you to embrace your new role & identity as a mom with more confidence, compassion and humor. -When: 4 Wednesdays 4/3-4/24 -Time: 11:15am-12:45pm -Where: Dance Place, Arlington -Fee: $110 Led By Ashley Oliver. As an assistant of a popuar parenting company, Ashley discovered her love to work in an atmosphere where you can see both parents and children learn and grow. After witnessing the importance of community support for new moms, she was eager to become a new moms group instructor. As a mom to a wonderful 9 year old, one on the way, she has a natural compassion for postnatal support. She participated in A New Moms Group Facilitator Training, Certified Lactation Counselor, and also works at the Little Lovage Club. She has a BA & MS from Lasell College, years of childcare experience, and has worked in the prenatal and postnatal industry since 2012. Her teaching style is genuine, positive, and has an open understanding to all that comes along with Parenting.
